This awareness day recognizes the critical need for a vaccine to help prevent the Human Immunodeficiency Virus  (HIV) and Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS). It also gives special attention to the thousands of doctors, scientists, community members, and volunteers who are working to develop an effective HIV vaccine. 

Communities all throughout the world are being informed about the need for HIV vaccine research. A safe and effective preventive HIV vaccine would be crucial in bringing the HIV pandemic to an end. Meanwhile, let us continue to practice HIV/AIDS prevention by maintaining safe lifestyle precautions.

North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference (NACFC) 2024 Day 2 Yet another exciting day at NACFC! I started with an interactive session on some research procedures, which I found helpful for my recruiting work and the data's impact on the population. I learned a lot from the CFTR genetics session, which aligns with one of my research group's projects, and the plenary session on The Journey to Understand and Advance Research in CFRD.   North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference (NACFC) 2024 Day 1 Another exciting day at the NACFC!  I started with the morning educative session, reconnecting with my incredible research team and reviewing their insightful posters for the conference.  It was also a great learning session at the endocrinology abstract presentations. I engaged in the roundtable discussion, which aligned closely with my research focus, the session on the CF disease mechanism, and the plenary session, which was a great opportunity to stay updated on the advancements in CF therapies.  I wrapped up the day with some general and group social gatherings because it’s all about building relationships and sharing ideas! #nacfc #nacfc2024 #cf #cysticfibrosis
