🅃🄷🄴🄼🄴: 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗼 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗩𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗼

An autoimmune disease called vitiligo causes patches of discolouration in various parts of the body because the immune system of the body targets its own cells or tissues.

The goal of World Vitiligo Day, which is celebrated annually on June 25th, is to increase efforts for vitiligo treatment and education while also bringing attention to the social stigma and mental health difficulties faced by vitiligo sufferers. It also aims to draw attention to the difficulties these individuals encounter and to raise money and awareness for vitiligo research. Today is a day to reflect on some of the incredible advancements that have been made over the previous ten years in the fight against this crippling illness. Additionally, the day provides vitiligo patients with a chance to showcase their talents.

I've gained a deeper understanding of CF, CF care, cutting-edge research, and, most importantly, the lived experiences of people living with cystic fibrosis and their families. I am leaving this session with more inspiration to serve people living with CF with my work. North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference (NACFC) 2024 Day 2 Yet another exciting day at NACFC! I started with an interactive session on some research procedures, which I found helpful for my recruiting work and the data's impact on the population. I learned a lot from the CFTR genetics session, which aligns with one of my research group's projects, and the plenary session on The Journey to Understand and Advance Research in CFRD. North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference (NACFC) 2024 Day 1 Another exciting day at the NACFC! I started with the morning educative session, reconnecting with my incredible research team and reviewing their insightful posters for the conference. It was also a great learning session at the endocrinology abstract presentations. I engaged in the roundtable discussion, which aligned closely with my research focus, the session on the CF disease mechanism, and the plenary session, which was a great opportunity to stay updated on the advancements in CF therapies.
