I am excited to be part of the Evidence to Policy Action led by the Johns Hopkins Center for Global Women's Health & Gender Equity to Ignite Change. 

I am grateful to my preceptor and mentor, Michele Decker, for this opportunity to connect with like-minded policy makers devoted to preventing and ending violence against women and girls.

I started with an interactive session on some research procedures, which I found helpful for my recruiting work and the data's impact on the population. I learned a lot from the CFTR genetics session, which aligns with one of my research group's projects, and the plenary session on The Journey to Understand and Advance Research in CFRD.   North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference (NACFC) 2024 Day 1 Another exciting day at the NACFC!  I started with the morning educative session, reconnecting with my incredible research team and reviewing their insightful posters for the conference.  It was also a great learning session at the endocrinology abstract presentations. I engaged in the roundtable discussion, which aligned closely with my research focus, the session on the CF disease mechanism, and the plenary session, which was a great opportunity to stay updated on the advancements in CF therapies.  I wrapped up the day with some general and group social gatherings because it’s all about building relationships and sharing ideas! #nacfc #nacfc2024 #cf #cysticfibrosis
