Today, there were several engaging sessions at the Nuts and Bolts Class for the New CF Team Member during the North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference (NACFC) at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. 


It’s been a full day of learning about the nuances of cystic fibrosis, how a multidisciplinary approach makes such a difference for people living with CF, about Cystic Fibrosis Foundation resources and listening to stories from the family and patient panel.


I recommend this session for any first-time attendees at NACFC. It’s the perfect foundation for understanding CF and CF management and connecting with this incredible community.

North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference (NACFC) 2024 Day 2 Yet another exciting day at NACFC! I started with an interactive session on some research procedures, which I found helpful for my recruiting work and the data's impact on the population. I learned a lot from the CFTR genetics session, which aligns with one of my research group's projects, and the plenary session on The Journey to Understand and Advance Research in CFRD.   North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference (NACFC) 2024 Day 1 Another exciting day at the NACFC!  I started with the morning educative session, reconnecting with my incredible research team and reviewing their insightful posters for the conference.  It was also a great learning session at the endocrinology abstract presentations. I engaged in the roundtable discussion, which aligned closely with my research focus, the session on the CF disease mechanism, and the plenary session, which was a great opportunity to stay updated on the advancements in CF therapies.  I wrapped up the day with some general and group social gatherings because it’s all about building relationships and sharing ideas! #nacfc #nacfc2024 #cf #cysticfibrosis
