MPH ORIENTATION AT JOHNS HOPKINS BLOOMBERG SCHOOL OF PUBLIC HEALTH

Starting my full-time MPH program at the No. 1 School of Public Health, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health has been an incredible journey filled with new experiences, intensive studies, and overcoming challenges. 

I'm amazed by the vast knowledge and connections available to me during my studies, and I look forward to the future and the opportunities it holds for me in this field. 

 I am grateful to Almighty God for his unceasing grace and for surrounding me with supportive family, friends, colleagues, and advisors from the beginning of this journey until now. I am confident he is and will always be with me in this journey and beyond. I am grateful for my lovely intercessors, St Rita, and my sweet mother, Mary. Thank you to my amazing family and support systems at home and abroad. You all made this possible.

North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference (NACFC) 2024 Day 2 Yet another exciting day at NACFC! I started with an interactive session on some research procedures, which I found helpful for my recruiting work and the data's impact on the population. I learned a lot from the CFTR genetics session, which aligns with one of my research group's projects, and the plenary session on The Journey to Understand and Advance Research in CFRD.   North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference (NACFC) 2024 Day 1 Another exciting day at the NACFC!  I started with the morning educative session, reconnecting with my incredible research team and reviewing their insightful posters for the conference.  It was also a great learning session at the endocrinology abstract presentations. I engaged in the roundtable discussion, which aligned closely with my research focus, the session on the CF disease mechanism, and the plenary session, which was a great opportunity to stay updated on the advancements in CF therapies.  I wrapped up the day with some general and group social gatherings because it’s all about building relationships and sharing ideas! #nacfc #nacfc2024 #cf #cysticfibrosis
